O.T.I. starts off in 1956 with another name as a manufacturer of machines for the production of plastic bags. In 1966, thanks to the intuition of the founder Silvano Romei, it moves to another location and stars manufacturing gears

In 1974 the company changes its name into OTI s.r.l. and moves to the current location that includes a covered area of 2000 square meters out of a total area of 4000 square meters.

Currently about 70 people are employed accounting for both, the office staff and personnel working on the manufacturing floor. The production process covers three shifts and starts from cutting up to the finished gear.

Our first aim has always been the quality of the product, for this reason all the operations are performed in-house on technologically up-dated machineries and managed by highly skilled personnel.

We operate only with qualified and certified suppliers of raw materials and heat treatments that are most reliable when it comes to metallurgical and mechanical features of the product.

Through the years the two sons of Silvano have run the company granting a steady growth and a continuous development.

At present also the third generation is fully involved in the company .
